Jarrett brings eight years of analytics and insurance industry experience, most recently spending five years at Root Insurance where he led analytics teams focused on agents and partnerships, marketing, and onboarding experience. He worked on measuring and building integrated channel relationships from the ground up, notably with partners such as Carvana and Goosehead, and was an integral part of the company’s expansion into Independent Agents. Jarrett’s work centered on delivering actionable analysis across product performance measurement, long-term strategic planning, data architecture, marketing measurement and ROI, unit economics, and forecasting. Before Root, Jarrett worked in Commercial Auto at Progressive as a pricing analyst and state management analyst. In those roles he specialized in rate adequacy assessments, underwriting performance analysis, and identifying growth and optimization opportunities across states. Jarrett enjoys spending as much time outdoors as he can. He enjoys golf and disc golf and co-owns a farm with his two brothers, where he spends time hunting, fishing, and caring for woodlands and grasslands. He has always been interested in the latest science research, notably in climatology and cosmology. His wife owns a bookstore, and isn't particularly interested in space and weather, but humors his long tangents about the "Fermi Paradox" and "Galaxies shouldn't have existed <100 million years after the big bang".
