Senior Machine Learning Engineer
Faran is an economist and machine learning engineer, with a passion for leveraging technology to help people reimagine how to participate in the economy and civil society. For the last decade, he has helped public and private organizations use data to help implement and improve programs in financial services, energy and infrastructure, public safety, health and human services, and more. Most recently, he was a data scientist at Revolut, where he helped lead new product and market launches globally. His research interests include network analysis and causal inference in machine learning. He holds a Master in Public Administration in International Development (MPA/ID) from Harvard University and Bachelors in Business and Philosophy from UC Berkeley.
